المباراة التي حضرها كل من رئيس الجامعة الملكية لكرة السلة ،ممثلي السلطة المحلية ،ممثلي مجلس جهة بني ملال خنيفرة و عزيز الشرايبي الرئيس السابق للمجلس البلدي لبني ملال ،تميزت بندية طيلة أشواط المبارة الأربع ،قبل أن يحسمها الفريق الضيف شباب أولمبيك وزان خلال الشوط الرابع ،ليتوج بذلك بطلا للبطولة الوطنية الثانية لكرة السلة ،وهو اللقب الذي يظل شرفيا في خضم تمكن الفريقيين معا من الصعود في موسم تاريخي بالنسبة لهما لمجاورة أندية القسم الوطني الأول لكرة السلة ،في تحد جديد لكليهما.
و تميز اللقاء بشكل خاص بحضور أولترا «ستار بويز» التي ظلت طيلة أشواط المبارة تقدم الدعم و السند للاعبي الرجاء الملالي لكرة السلة ،الذي كان خير ممثل للرياضة الملالية في ظل تواضع فرع كرة القدم الذي فشل في تحقيق الصعود خلال الدورات الأخيرة من البطولة الوطنية الثانية .
